Antique Halloween Postcard

Here is the antique postcard I bought at the antique show. It is not in pristine shape but I wouldn't be either if I was almost a 100 years old. It was posted from Winthrop, IA to their Grandson in Buckingham, CO. She is a pretty witch and has her black cat familiar with her.

I have quite a collection of Halloween postcards now and they are probably worth a pretty penny. I only sell them if I find duplicates or I don't care for the postcard that much. I suppose with the economy the way it is now, they wouldn't go for as much right now. I also have a collection of Halloween figurines...mostly for my birth month or else they are just little witches. I've just started collecting the noisemakers which are very colorful and fun. I guess everyone has something they like to collect.

I love Halloween because it is close to my birthday and that month was always magical when I was a child. Now, I try and forget my birthday....funny how things change....
