A Blast From The Past

After cutting Prissy's hair today, we were looking through an old photo album and came across this picture from 1982 when we went to Hawaii with my girlfriend, Diane. We had such a good time on that trip and really got lots of sun. We were on Maui and decided to take the treacherous Road to Hana road trip and see the sunrise come up over the volcano the same day. We got up around 3:00AM to drive to the top of the volcano in the dark and did see a beautiful sunrise and then it took us about 10 hours to get to Hana and back...nobody told us it was that long of a trip. My advice to you is don't do both of these things on the same day.

This picture was taken before we attended a luau at the Royal Hawaiian. Good times.

Second Harvest Gals

This morning, Joan, Diane and I volunteered at Second Harvest where we packaged tortillas for the needy. I really enjoyed doing this and plan to continue...it was especially nice doing it with friends. Don't we look cute in our hairnets???
