Diane and I had such a nice time yesterday with Kathy and Jen...much laughter. Here is a picture of the 3 cousins together.

DISH Event

Joan, Diane and I volunteered to sell raffle tickets at the DISH event with proceeds going to Second Harvest Heartland held at the River Centre last night. We were given dinner and free access to the event afterwards. It was rewarding because between all 3 of us we sold $1,250 worth of tickets. It was fun to see people bidding on auction items which included, a suite at the Twins game and the Wild game which went for close to $3,000. Other auction items were dinners for 24 people which went for $2,000....I can't imagine having the money to bid like that but these were very generous (and rich) people. It was a fun and rewarding night!

Washington DC Revisited

It's hard to believe it's been almost a year since we took our trip to DC. Thought you might like to see the highlights again.

A Day of Flowers & the Spring Idea House

Diane invited me to a pancake breakfast yesterday at the New Hope Middle School and afterward we decided to go to Bachman's on Lyndale and see the flowers and the Spring Idea House. While we were looking at the flowers, we ran into Judy Smith and her daughter's family. It was good to see her again. Diane bought some pansies and a white Easter lily and I bought a pink oriental lily. We then toured the Spring Idea House which did have some interesting ideas although some were a little strange. It was the last day for touring it. Altogether a fun outing!
